Acupuncture

While acupuncture is amazing at treating any type of pain condition,
in the hands of a well-trained practitioner like People's Choice founder,
Chad Moyer, it has many broader applications.

Why use Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a time-tested, holistic medicine that can help to decrease pain and restore function.

No matter what your current state of health, we know from our years of experience treating thousands of people that you can live with greater ease, strength, and a joyful vitality than you are now experiencing, or perhaps even think possible.

We know that acupuncture is a near miraculous boon to the well-being of body, mind, and spirit, and its use by over a billion people world-wide stands as a testament to its efficacy

We also know that, like exercise, the best benefits – the life-changing benefits – of acupuncture accrue with repeated use, and a commitment to consistency.  It takes time and effort to get in shape.  Similarly, rebuilding and balancing the body’s internal energy requires dedication.

What To Expect
With Acupuncture

Quick & Painless

Acupuncture is quick and painless, you’re in and out of the office in 30 minutes.

The Process

The Acupuncture process is repeated 2-5 times a week until maximum improvement is seen. Then a maintenance regimen is often prescribed to prevent recurrence. Maintenance may be as little as 1-2 times per month.

Treatment Course

The number of procedures you will need will vary based on your specific condition, the amount of time you’ve had it, etc.

Absence of Symptoms

Acupuncture can and often results in a complete absence of symptoms, even in severe pain conditions that have been present for years.

Accurate Evaluation

Once you are evaluated, we will analyze your presentation and give you an estimate of the number of treatments likely needed based on clinically evidence based data.

Common Questions
About Acupuncture

Am I a Candidate For Acupucture? The medical literature shows acupuncture’s effect on nearly every biophysical system in the body. I’ve seen patients suffering from a wide variety of problems respond to acupuncture treatment when nothing else has worked. So, for most people, yes, acupuncture is something you should explore.

How Many Acupuncture Treatments Will I Need? The number of treatments needed differs from person to person. For complex or long-standing conditions, one or two treatments a week for several months may be recommended. For acute problems, usually fewer visits are required, and for health maintenance, we recommend monthly tune ups.

Does Acupuncture Hurt? No. It’s very comfortable. Most people end up taking a nap during their treatment and leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.

Is Acupuncture Covered By Insurance? Insurance companies only like to cover treatments that don’t actually fix the problem. So we’re out of network for all insurance. The good news is, that you are the one in charge of what procedures you get, not an insurance company. And acupuncture treatment is very affordable.
